Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

To celebrate the beginning of the Spring quarter (what?), we guys went to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, a restaurent located at Santa Monica Pier.

But wait! Jie suggested us to walk on the beach before sunset. Even though we were hungry, it would be better to follow QMP's suggestion. XD

Where is Off???? XD


The name of the restaurent "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company" originates from the movie "Forest Gump," which Tom Hanks played.
也就是電影阿甘正傳中，阿甘跟他一起打越戰的長官後來一起開的捕蝦船、捕蝦公司。

Venice - Santa Monica Beach

從Venice走到Santa Monica。

Santa Monica - Sea !!

這天到DMV考筆試(註１)，於是大夥一起租車，沒想到沒有普通轎車可以租，於是...

結果因為沒帶到I-20所以沒得考，囧。
大概是上面這張照片容量太大，相機居然沒電了(誤)，所以接下來只好跟Brian伸照片啦。

(陪)考完筆試，當然要趁著好天氣到鄰近的Santa Monica海邊晃晃，這是我終於第一次在美國西岸清楚地看到太平洋(註２)。回首向來蕭瑟處，還是晴天比較好。

















海邊的房子，遠看很像用積木堆成的。














註１：DMV，Department of Motor Vehicles的縮寫，大概就是台灣的監理站，考駕照的地方。
註２：其實已經到海邊多次，第一次到Santa Monica結果天黑了；第二次感恩節前的週末凌晨到San Pedro海灘結果被警察趕；第三次則是陪路考不成還得趕時間還車又加上天氣不好，在雨中只能遠眺海岸。
